Okay, no food, no water, no candy bars, no simulated gambling. I'm dying! Fortunately, a few of brave crew members have just discovered a cave. It seems to lead downward. But it's so dark in there! And windy!
However, there is a sign of intelligence; outside the cave is a red mailbox. Hmm. Should we open it? Should we go into the cave?

Junkmail, a postcard from Vegas . . . and a huge stack of unpaid electricity bills. I see no reason why we shouldn't go in.

A few deductions -
1) if there are electricity bills, then there is electricity.
2) If the bills are unpaid, won't we be harrased by bill collectors?
3) If the bills are indeed unpaid, won't the eletricity be cut off?
4) Also, once the bill collectors realize we are not the original inhabitants, won't we all be arrested for squatting?
I vote for going in, but no one answer the doorbell.

Or we could resort to cannibalism and eat any bill collectors that arrive. The captain did say we're low on/out of food, didn't he?

Where were all the cowardly crew members while the brave ones were finding the cave?

indrabar - it looks as if the electricity has been cut off already - no lights. But then again, perhaps that wind is coming from a really big ceiling fan . . . ?

Perhaps we should try lighting a torch or something?
Posted by: indrabar | November 23, 2006 at 04:11 PM
Wait, don't we have some form of portable light source available? Must we really resort to torches? I mean, it's a good idea, but we should check if there is something more convenient first. Unfortunately, there's nothing on my person.
And who's going to enter first? Doesn't the first person in usually disappear, never to be seen again?

Well, as we just recovered you and Alli, Joelson, there's no reason why you two shouldn't push someone in ahead of you. Let them die first.

No need. I'll go first.

Attaboy! There's the Mopher spirit! I'll go with you just in case.... two screams are louder than one, you know.

Careful - a giant spinning blade may come forth to decapitate you!

Thanks Alli. By the way, I did bring a portable light. No torch for us...

Who are you? And what are you doing in this cave?!
Posted by: "+" | November 24, 2006 at 08:14 AM
What? The NSK... AGAIN!?
